Ranger Led Walk Along the Chattahoochee River - Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, Palisades West Unit

A stop along the way to a day hike modeling a country store's fashionable selection of shirts and hats.

We do not post event information to the website as our members receive their event information and details through our eNewsletter. As such, it is not practical with limited volunteer time to keep this section updated. See the Membership section to sign up.

We typically do more outings in the Atlanta area or within a couple hour drive so that members will have the opportunity to meet others in the group before going on longer trips. As our group and member participation grows, we will do more full day events plus weekend getaways. The diversity of events is dependant on the volunteering by members to organize outings and other activities.

As a volunteer-based group, we are always looking for those who are willing to organize, host, be an event point/contact person or otherwise help out with an event. Please let us know if you would like to help make this a more fun group through your help as a volunteer.
